Zotero for corporate use?
I work at a SME (MONEYBANKER), we want an easy way to distribute news and useful information amongst us, therefore I was wondering if Zotero was the right tool for this?
We are concerned with finance and would therefore benefit from sharing valuable and useful information with each other without having to email each other with the URL. As far as I understand Zotero is like a "storage unit", is it possible to upload PDF documents from our iMacs to it?
Can somebody enlighten me on these questions and please feel free to add additional information that might be relevant for us. Preferably add pros/cons of using Zotero rather than Skype/Slack/Google Docs etc.

That said, you can sync PDFs and other files with Zotero. It's not a communication platform, though, so you'd use it alongside Slack and/or Skype.
It's also not an online authoring tool, so you'd likely still be using google docs.
