Error when creating odf(to citations)

Hi! Can you please help me to solve this issue, the deadline for my paper is tomorrow morning and I don't see why I get this error...
I try to convert my odt file and get 'The error ocurred while processing this file'. I tried to cut my document into 2 pieces but still get the error.

One quick thing you could try is to open the file in LibreOffice before scanning, make a small change, and save. See if you can scan then.

The file is created from Scrivener or which software?

Thanks, I'll try it. It's a google doc, which was downloaded as odt.

(The files I received didn't have any citation markers in them -- while we should make sure the add-on fails more gracefully in those cases, it wouldn't really matter: the scan doesn't do anything with a document without markers).
