Zotero toolbar in Firefox keeps disappearing

Whenever Firefox updates, Zotero is eliminated from the toolbar, even though the plugins remain. I would like to have them back. Does anyone know how to retrieve it?

    Certainly not normal -- does Zotero still open when you select in in Firefox's "Tools" menu? (in Windows press Alt to see the menu)

    Make sure you have the latest version of Zotero (currently 4.0.29.16). Older versions of Zotero won't work with the latest Firefox.
