Bug Report - User Interface - File/New Item/Web Page

Dear Zotero Team,

this is a Bug-Fix-Request with low priority:

If you want to create a new item of type Web Page you will not find that item type in menu File/New Item/Web Page. Instead you have to first create a new item of one of the listed types and then change the item type in the editor panel on the right to "Web Page".

Please try to reproduce. Over here we are using Zotero 4.0.29.10.

We are looking forward to seeing this fixed.

    This was done intentionally, because the Zotero developer(s) argue that in the vast majority of cases, people would be better off creating web page items directly from the page they're visiting in the browser, instead of creating a new webpage item by hand and entering all item metadata manually.

    And, also in that thread, Zotero developer Dan Stillman agrees that it would be better to allow webpage items to be created via the "New Item" menu, if there was a (cancellable) warning that there are often better ways to create an item for webpages that still exist.
