adamsmiththat's a disk access error. It could be due to a corrupted harddisk, but more typically it occurs when you have the database on a network drive of some type; could that be the case here?
-
scottrhendersonThanks. I have the database on a university network drive. When I have tried to download again the local disk C drive is not an option. What would you suggest?
-
adamsmithwhat do you mean by "not an option" exactly? In the advanced tab of the Zotero preferences under Files and Folders, you can set a custom location for you data folder. Can you not select locations on your local HD there?
-
scottrhendersonThis may seem really silly. I haven't used Zotero very much. Where is the advanced tab and File and Folders?
-
adamsmithIn the preferences: https://www.zotero.org/support/preferences
-
scottrhendersonThere seems to be some problems with downloading software. I need further administrator rights so I will contact the university IT department. Thanks
