Before OSSierra update I was able to open pdfs from Zotero, edit them (highlight) with preview (mac app), and then simply close the file and all edits would save in the zotero held pdf.

Now, when I highlight something in preview it says the original file cannot be edited and it tries to make a duplicate.

Is there a disconnect not established between preview and zotero? Any ideas? Fixes?

I am also unable to highlight in Adobe because it won't allow me to save, only save as.
