unable to sync and program freezing

I received this reference number: 251091412. I can't sync and the program is slow and freezes up. I just spent the weekend putting my entire collection on t his program....please help

    It's likely performing a large sync, which in the current version of Zotero can freeze the UI. Let is go for a little while and it should finish.

    Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a sync attempt that produces that?

    NS_ERROR_FAILURE generally points to a problem on your system, though. If you're running any security software, I would try temporarily disabling it and seeing if that helps.

    Actually, never mind — don't need a Debug ID. So yes, something on your system is preventing Zotero/Firefox from writing files (in this case, full-text content files for searching) to the disk. Try disabling your security software or somehow excluding the Zotero data directory.

    See above, if you missed it. Something on your system is blocking Zotero's (really Firefox's) write access to the Zotero data directory.

    I'm afraid we can't really help debug this — you'll need to figure out what on your system is blocking this. Here's what fails:

    Hi Again, It says the path is corrupt and wants me to run the chkdsk utility....how do I do that?
