I received this reference number: 251091412. I can't sync and the program is slow and freezes up. I just spent the weekend putting my entire collection on t his program....please help
NS_ERROR_FAILURE generally points to a problem on your system, though. If you're running any security software, I would try temporarily disabling it and seeing if that helps.

So yes, something on your system is preventing Zotero/Firefox from writing files (in this case, full-text content files for searching) to the disk. Try disabling your security software or somehow excluding the Zotero data directory.
I'm afraid we can't really help debug this — you'll need to figure out what on your system is blocking this. Here's what fails:
