How to add text among citations

Hello, I'm writing paper where I need to add some text among citations that clarifies certain points that are raised in text or gives additional details like experimental parameters about statement. Is there a way to achieve this?

Example:
Maluisset corrumpit molestiae in cum, sea amet modo forensibus at. Ut mei harum volutpat.[3]

1) citation #1
2) Some text and coments
3) citation #2
  • Are these footnotes or endnotes? If footnotes, just insert a footnote using your word processor as normal. Endnotes are a bit harder--easiest way is to insert a reference to a standalone note in Zotero with the text. The first line of test from the note will show up into the bibliography.
  • It should be as endnote. I just noticed that it works as you say in some bibliography styles, but not in one I need (ACS Catalysis). So i was wandering if someone could point me to right csl tags I could add to my current style for this to work.
  • I have found temporary workaround for this problem:
use "Report" as a placeholder for comment. Then add comment in reports title and cite it in word document.
