Report error: 994934897
I had this error report. I am experiencing remnants of highlighted areas when using Zotero in Firefox 48.0.2 usually when on library catalogues at the same time. The mouse can randomly highlight areas on the screen or there is overlapping of text/images. to see what I mean look at this image:

Your problem seems familiar. I can say for certain that when it happened to me it was not Zotero related because Zotero wasn't installed on the machine. Years ago I had this problem but I don't remember how I solved it. My issue was related to the number of windows that were open on my screens (I was using dual monitors).
Could you make a screen recording that begins as soon as Windows starts and continues while you open FF and Zotero to reproduce your problem? Maybe if I can see it in real-time the video will jar my memory.
Hi again
Thanks for your comments. I have since had very slow opening of Word documents with Word "not responding." I have removed the Zotero plug-in for Word, reinstalled Office, removed Firefox and reinstalled, removed Zotero and reinstalled but Word continues to open very slowly.
Are you aware of issues with the Word plug in?
Today the laptop crashed when I was working on a note in Zotero, I had four Word documents open, File Explorer and three tabs in Firefox.
Are you aware of Citrix receiver causing these sorts of issues? I have got that on my laptop.
Not sure how to do a screen recording. The issues do not happen immediately, it is often after about an hour or so.
Thanks.
