Upgrade StorageWill resent with a parent metadata remove the attached pdf
Hi I have set my zotero options such that only the metadata will sync (without the attachments). In my library I also have some old journal articles and notes without parent metadata (since the automatic retrieval did not work on them). Right now it syncs the full pdf file, since there is no metadata.
If I manually create a parent item for them what happens upon resync? Will it remove the pdf (since it is now an attachment to the )? or will it retain it?

adamsmithThe PDFs don't actually sync (they won't open on the synced machine) -- the only thing that syncs is the information that said file exists. That information will continue to sync after using retrieve metadata.
