Can Zotero sync and automatically pickup new items in Mendeley

I'm trying to get a workflow to move new journal articles from my Android RSS (greader) to Zotero. Unfortunately all android apps to support zotero are bad and as a result, I cannot export the rss feed of new journal articles to zotero. Currently I do this manually by performing

1. Android RSS -> Mendeley App
2. Mendeley -> BibTeX
3. BibTeX -> Zotero

This is cumbersome and I was wondering if there is a way to automate this wherein Zotero can automatically pick up any new articles in Mendeley and sync it in.
  • You can use the Zotero bookmarklet in Android, which works nicely and doesn't require an app

    The next version of Zotero will also allow you to subscribe to RSS feeds.
    But no, there's no auto-syncing with Mendeley.
  • As adamsmith said above the beta version of 5.0 handles RSS feeds within the Zotero program itself. It now works flawlessly. The beta requires Zotero in Firefox. I've been using 5.0 beta for weeks. I have almost 100 journal RSS feeds. Zotero's treatment of them is great.

    Back up your 4.0x library before you install.
