Take a look at the Making your site Zotero ready page for a quick rundown of different options. The best way to get a sense of how Zotero will import BibTeX or RIS records is to just export some example items form Zotero in each format.

Would be nice to add RDFa to that page Trevor. I think it's a superior option in this case.
