Change email addrress

Hi
I will soon no longer have access to my email address so I need to change it. I can't see any way of doing this on my account page, so I clicked "resend validation emails" to validate the new email I want to use, but I didn't receive anything at my old or new email addresses. How do I change my email address?

  • I'm not quite sure I understand where you currently are. So you're looking at
    https://www.zotero.org/settings/account and you already have two e-mail addresses there or not?
  • Yes. One of them says “not verified” so I want to verify it and change to that one.

    Have you checked spam for the new e-mail? You should get a validation e-mail when you add it (and when you click on resend).
  • Yes - nothing in either email address. I clicked resend twice.

    I don't see any problems for your new address on our end. I'd try it again, and if you still don't see anything send an email to support@zotero.org from the new address.
  • I found a solution. I entered the alternative email address again and clicked resend validation. This time it did so, and then I was able to change my primary email. So it doesn't resend to existing addresses.
  • It does — there were multiple supposedly successful deliveries to your new address in our logs — but, regardless, glad to hear you got it working.
