Sync error message

Obscure error message:

The note '<p><img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAA…' in your library is too long to sync to zotero.org.
Shorten the note, or delete it and empty the Zotero trash, and then try syncing again.

How to find and fix this?

    First, note that you can't paste images into notes. That's what's going on here and what breaks sync.

    To find the note, searching for iVBORw0KGgoAAA in All fields and tags mode should show it. Delete it (or remove the image if there's other content), empty the Zotero trash, and this should work again.

    Thanks. That seems to have done it.

    It would be handy to be able to insert an image in a note -- will that be possible eventually?

    You should be able to check -- if it also has iVBORw0KGgoAAA it's the same note. If it doesn't, it's a different one.

    I found (and deleted) five more such items but searching on the abbreviated filename. Some were old, and presented no problem before. Odd.
