In Tears with Zotero!

Begging for help here - in last 26 days of writing dissertation and guess what Zotero has major screwed me and itself up! I was saving quite happily text links etc via firefox then today the hell started! now it will only save to MyLibrary on Zotero standalone. It has stopped saving to the project folders underneath, driving me nuts I seriously need help!!!!!!!

    It seems the issue here is items not showing up in a collection (what you call "project folders".

    By default, Zotero will save an item in the MyLibrary AND attach it to any collection which is highlighted while you are saving an item. If no collection is highlighted, the item shows up only in My Library.

    Note that items are only assigned to collections, which means when you "Remove Item from Collection" it will still exist in My Library. If you select "Move Item to Trash...", then it is removed from the collection and My Library (this is analogous to deleting).
