Collection Locked - No Sync - Issues in Syncronization

Dear All

I Deleted about 400 records (around 300MBytes), moving them to a private group and then deleting from my personal folder. The deletion does not propagate into the ZOT server. The stand alone client reports that last sync was 13 hours ago.

In doing that, I may have exceeded my maximum storage quota 2GB as I own also the group. I was able to remove some files from another group using the web client and I am now well below (1GB) my quota limit.

My personal folder seems locked: I do not have a direct way to check, but I tried to nuke the server using restore to the server and I received a message that the reset cannot be performed because the folder is locked.

Operating from the web client on it does not work, I cannot delete collections or records.

After a few hours I also tried to purge my personal folder (hopefully to reset the sync queue) but even the purge does not operate.

Could you help me?

  • Could we get an error ID right after a failed sync?

    (Also, we strongly recommend against using things like "Restore" for general-purpose troubleshooting.)

    I did not get any report ID because the client was indefinetely stuck in the sync. (It did not provide any ID)

    However this afternoon the problem solved itself.
    A note: for all the morning the internet traffic generated from the client was close to zero. Now everything seems normal.
