Do I have to "change field codes" every time I open the document?
Hello!
I just started using Zotero. I use Word for Mac through the Office 365. When I open a document with citations all citations have changed from numbers to really long phrases starting {ADDIN ZOTERO_ITEM CSL_CITATION etc etc etc. If I press CMD A and then "right-click" I can choose "change field codes" and it will turn into numbers again. Is this procedure really necessary every time I open the document? Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you!

adamsmithIt shouldn't, no. Instead of cmd+a etc. try pressing alt+fn+f9 next time. That should change the behavior across Word (this is a Word setting -- you just happen to see it for fields inserted by Zotero), rather than just for the currently displayed fields.
