Kindly create a a citation style for national medical journal of india.
The two references styled according to the requirements are:
Campbell JL, Pedersen OK. The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success. Compar Polit Stud 2007;40:307–32.

  • Did you try to find the similar style on http://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/?
  • Yes but i could not find this style. I tried editing existing styles, but was totally lost. Have no experience in these matters.
  • I found some very similar styles. I will change it for you. Take me a few days ( I am a busy now).
  • Thanks a lot.
  • OK. There is a first draft:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9G2tT5B0K0WTGZzcHVxV1VBU2s/view?usp=sharing

I use The Lancet style as a template and make only minimal changes. I am waiting for your comments. ;-)
  • Thanks a lot. There are a few changes though. The et al. is after 6 authors and not 3. Also the colon after volume is in bold. Both volume and colon are bold. Also DOI is not needed.
    Thanks again.
  • OK there is available new version on the same link. Download it again and try it please. DOI is a similar identifier of online documents as an URL; so I change style to works in the same way for URL and for DOI.
  • Thanks a lot
  • Hi sorry to disturb you again. But could you make a slight modification to this citation style by introducing a space between the colon after volume and page number. eg.
Tripathi M, Deo RC, Suri A, Srivastav V, Baby B, Kumar S, et al. Quantitative analysis of the Kawase versus the modified Dolenc-Kawase approach for middle cranial fossa lesions with variable anteroposterior extension. J Neurosurg 2015;56: 141–7
Please store this change under a different name such as nmji- annual report. I want to keep saved the previous one also.
    Thanks a lot.

    OK, try this file:
    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9G2tT5B0K0Wd0JCN3Q0aUF6RFU
Space is in all type of documents (implemented in this file) or it is specific to some documents only?
EDIT: in the guide for authors is no space.
  • Space is for all journal articles and chapters. If I install this will it replace my previously stored version?
Can you change the name so that I can retain both on Zotero, as this spacing is a temporary requirement for only one departmental work.
  • I upload a new version, this version does not delete the first version (without space) from your Zotero. Download it from the same link https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9G2tT5B0K0Wd0JCN3Q0aUF6RFU

    .
  • Hi @ragini4 and @LiborA I just took your code and fixed 2 little issues with it and made a pull request out of it. Would be a shame if not more users had access to the style direclty via their reference manager of choice that uses the CSL repo. Hope that is ok with you.
