Zotero with Microsoft Word 2016

I have office 365, Microsoft Word 2016 for a mac and I can't get the zotero add-in to work. I previously had word 2011, which was still installed. I un-installed it. I've re-installed the add-in through Zotero preferences several times, restarted word, and otherwise followed the directions, but I can't find any evidence of zotero being linked anywhere in word. Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the suggestion. I had already tried that, but before uninstalling Word 2011. I've now uninstalled Zotero and reinstalled that and gotten it to work. Thanks.
