Upgrade StorageProblem with De Buck citation style?
Recently I am getting the field 'extra' in my references. I am running Zotero 4.0.20.10 under Firefox 46.0.1 & word 2010. I have updated De Buck style & word add-in.
The reference looks like this:
Historisch dag-verhaal van het belegeren en inneemen der stad Bergen op den Zoom [...] door de kroon Vrankryk (Kn 17843) (Haerlem: Enschede RecordID 14161Pamphlet Nr. 17843).
The'extra' field looks like this in Zotero:
RecordID 14161
Pamphlet Nr. 17843
The 'extra' field should not be in the reference. Does anyone know what is wrong?

But if you follow the link https://gist.githubusercontent.com/rmzelle/56d1d6a2c0eb0c0c3f77be110c345012/raw/1d2e98f69ff28ecd42856e0d0cb8f9770247da37/de-buck-old.csl, right-click on the page and use "Save as...", you can save this older version to your desktop, and then install it (https://www.zotero.org/support/styles#alternative_installation_methods).
My preferences are now set to the De Buck old style.
Would it be possible to get an notification if the author of the style does an update to restore this error, so we can have the benefits of the improvements of the new style? I would be much obliged.

In hindsight, using the Extra field was probably not a good idea, so this needs to be changed. I needed the field to be able to give date ranges (which I use a lot, especially in referring to older books such as incunabula).

Ik snap je probleem. Ik zet dataranges meestal maar in de titel, maar dat is niet ideaal.
Het extra-veld zal door iedereen anders gebruikt worden denk ik. Ik gebruik het om bibliofiele gegevens (bijv gegevens uit Tempo of bibliotheek-catalogie) in op te slaan.
Ik hoop dat je dit snel kan aanpassen want jouw update, vooral de aanpassing van 'non dropping particles' als 'van' en 'de' in Nederlandse (en Duitse) namen is buitengewoon fijn, naast alle andere verbeteringen! Omdat ik nu als eigen stijl de vorige versie gebruik, zal die niet updaten als jij een aanpassing doet. Zou het mogelijk zijn om me dat te laten weten, bijvoorbeeld via deze discussie?

Betere ondersteuning in Zotero voor periodes staat op de agenda, maar het kan nog een tijdje duren.
