Stand alone notes not syncing

as subject indicated, the stand alone notes I am writing on one computer are not syncing online or to my other computer. The error is they are too big but really they are not that big. And, even when I make them smaller they are still not syncing.

    Have you added images to your notes (by drag and drop)? If so, that would probably be the source of the issue. Otherwise, make sure you're looking at the correct note (search your library for the item key that Zotero mentions in the error)

    yes images were dragged into the note. Is this not compatible?

    yes, images break note syncing, sorry. (they also aren't saved to the note, so there's unfortunately no use in doing this at all.) I wish there was a way to integrate images in notes, but I don't think there's anything on the radar at least in the short term.

    So something the program allows you to do just doesn't work, without warning? And in fact "breaks" the whole entry? Really disappointing. Sorry to have relied on Zotero for an afternoon of research rather than the many other note-taking programs that will sync images.
