Inline citation: Different delimiters

Hi all,

one question regarding inline citations and delimiters:

Is it possible to seperate two authors with commas and more than two with a semicolon?

"More than two authors (but not editors) are separated by semicolons."

Thanks in advance!
  • I don't think that's possible, no, but to be sure, could you post an example from that styleguide and link to it?
  • Here is the link to the styleguide:
    http://www.jmis-web.org/info-for-contributors#refs

But actually they don't follow this rule in their own example...
  • right, so as you say, this isn't done in their example, but what I think they mean is:
Kuehner, P. and Smith, A. (so just an "and")
    and
    Kueher, P.; Smith, A.; and Marx, K.

Zotero can do that (with delimiter-precedes-last="contextual", which is the default). But I'd go with their example and just use commas.
