MHRA but with an adjustment
I need to change the MHRA style so that for each reference following the first use, the full author and title is used. Can someone either point me at a referencing style that allows this (and looks like MHRA), or point me at where I can find out how to do it - I'm a historian, not a programmer!
Thanks in advance

Snowvaedited June 3, 2016Dear Kenton, I have exactly the same problem. I used to reference with Chicago style and thought Zotero was amazing. Then my supervisor told me to use MHRA style and now it is a nightmare: Zotero does follow the MHRA style but I don't even understand how is that useful in any text to only use the family name from second mention as there could be more than an item from that author? Will I have to edit each of the footnotes after the first one to add the first name and title? Hope someone more techny-savvy than me can enlighten me

adamsmiththe MHRA style in Zotero, following the manual, will add the short title of a work in subsequent notes if there is more than one work by the same author.

thomaspmurrayBut what about dates? Is it possible t have dates be included in the later refs? it just clears things up imensely. Less messy than having the short title, but more informative than just the name.

adamsmithNot sure what you're asking. It's doable; it's just not MHRA style.
