Drag and Drop in Unfiled Items

I believe I was able to drag and drop individual items into a parent item within the Unfiled Items collection several versions ago but now I can't do any moving from the Unfiled Items except to move file to another collection.
I can select My Library and do the moving, but then it becomes more difficult due to the number of items in the library.

I have tried in FF Zotero and Standalone.
I am currently using Standalone 4.0.29.10

I realized now that I didn't really ask a question.
Can items in the Unfiled Items collection be moved to Parent Items in the Unfiled Items collection when viewing the Unfiled Items collection?

You can move attachment items under Parent Items in the Unfiled Items collection. It appears that you can't move attachment items out to be standalone, however (that is possibly a bug?). Is that what you are trying to do? Otherwise, can you clarify what you mean by "items?"

I can try to clarify what I am trying to do.
I have downloaded a dozen or so pdfs that are currently in the Unfiled Items collection.
I click and drag one of the pdfs to a Book that is also in the Unfiled Items collection.
The mouse curser turns into the circle with line through it and won't let me drop it on any parent item.
This occurs when I have the Unfiled Items clicked in the left column to only show them.

If I drag that same pdf to the collections, the cursor turns to a arrow with plus sign and I can add it to a collection.

If I go to My Library, I can drag and drop pdfs into the Parent Items as expected. (Which is my current work around).

I used to be able to move items around in the Unfiled Items collection and not sure when this stopped working for me. At least 6 months ago.
Just now reporting it since I was handling a large amount of items and it was a pain to do it in My Library.

Let me know if you need any additional info.
