Is it possible to export my library into a doc?

I have read that some people's library was suddenly empty and am starting to fear it might happen to me as well, especially since mine already contains so many books.
Now I wanted to ask if it is possible to somehow back up all my books and export them into a Word doc or something like that?

    You should just do proper back-ups of Zotero (as you would with all important data) and you'll be fine:

    exporting to a Word doc isn't going to be much help if something actually goes wrong.

    Sorry I'm not sure I understood all of that as my Zotero is also in German, but just to make sure:

    I now exported my full Zotero library (that is my notes and files) onto a USB.

    Does that cut it?

    No. An export is not a backup. Follow the instructions at that link. Or, in German:
