Zotero isn't finding my files
Hi,
I have no idea how it happened.... I have just tried to much getting it fixed so that I can't remember each step any more. BUT zotero can't not find the files anymore. I have downloaded the newest version of Zotero and newest versions of every plugin or whatsoever... no results. I'm really desperate about this. I also just read that I need a Debud ID which is D1369610540... I would be really very grateful if somebody can help!
thank you

When I open Zotero and want to access a book in PDF by doubleclicking on its title, a windows shows up telling "File not found. The attached file could not be found. It may have been noved or deleted outside of Zotero."
I had tried to replace my database because it seemed I had corrupted files in the database. When I tried to open them I only got some wierd signs looking like the pdf programming language or so. So, I checked troubleshooting and under followed the steps under Zotero Database repair tool. I had to upload a copied version of my database. The reference for that Upload is ID 572bb6be7a735.
Thank you so much for your help!
Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a PDF that doesn't open?
(Note that you're at your free file storage limit, which means that some files likely haven't uploaded. Zotero warns you about that at sync time, but it means that if you deleted your 'storage' directory or ended up in a different data directory and tried to sync files down from the server, you wouldn't get them all back. Not clear that that's what happened here, though.)
Yes, there is a storage folder in the zotero data directory. and inside that "storage" folder there is a second "storage" folder containing titles that can not be found in the first "storage" folder... is that the problem?
I just got a debug ID, its D635981515. Tell me if that was of any help.
thank you so much for your ans
