downloading/importing multiple citations from database

I have the zotero plug in for Mozilla, and used to be able to go into a library or newspaper database and a little manila folder would open up next to the Zotero. If I clicked on it, the folder would open up and I would be able to check-box the articles I wanted and it would automatically download all of the articles and cites. Now this does not work, and the window that opens up does not show anything. When I try and just 'select all' nothing happens either. Should I just uninstall and reinstall, or is there another fix?

    We'd have to know which databases. Try e.g. here: http://www.worldcat.org/search?qt=worldcat_org_bks&q=adam+smith&fq=dt%3Abks
    does that still work?

    If not, run through https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues as they apply. Re-install only very rarely helps, I wouldn't start there.
