Have lost access to my account

Hello,
I had an original account on Zotero that had many articles for my dissertation research. In the process of saving it, I somehow ended up creating a second account with the same email address. Now it won't let me access or find that original account with all my articles. It will only let me access the second account.

Of course I've tried resetting the password, but I need some kind of program override or help group to get me back into my account. The articles are very important to my dissertation. email is jlemke12@yahoo.com.

  • all Zotero devs do and generally yes, though the description of your problem doesn't seem quite right. I don't think you can create two accounts with the same e-mail address and even if you did it'd seem quite odd if that locked you out of the first one.
  • I don't see an account with that email address. If you're sure that was the email address, then unfortunately that likely means you were actually just using the client and never registered (or synced) that first time around.
  • I am actually have the same exact problem. I am not sure what is going on but I cannot get into my account.

    Otherwise, start a new thread with more details of why you can't get into your account with regular recovery procedures.
