I'm afraid this is a generic error, so it doesn't give us much to go on. If you're running any security software, there's a good chance that's the problem. Otherwise you can try deleting the pdfinfo*/pdftotext* files in your Zotero data directory, restating Zotero, and reinstalling the tools from the Search pane.
