Having read other posts regarding the addition of new disciplines, I've noticed that the main concern is to do with the degree of granularity. That is members requesting disciplines which may reasonably considered to be sub-categories of others.

There is another case of examples which seems to have been missed. That is emerging fields which have their origin in many disciplines and are not easily contained within the current Zotero list of disciplines.

One such case is Strategic Foresight and Futures Studies.

This is a well established field supported with over 30 years of academic literature and I believe warrants inclusion as it does not fit into any of the disciplines currently listed.

How do we make it happen?
