Trash is a nice addition
Hey, I only noticed the new Trash pseudo-collection in Sync 3.8 just now. It's nice to have that. It seems to work fine, though the interface of the trash items is at first confusing.
For example if there are attachments in it, you have to deduce that the greyed out items won't get deleted when you select 'Empty Trash', and that they are actually only there to make the reation of the deleted stuff to its parent item clear. This is not obvious at first sight. I would prefer to have that kind of information hidden from sight, or accessible on a right click, or some such thing. Perhaps this is related to the 'display only child items' ticket.

erazlogoedited February 16, 2009Yes it's really weird to see the greyed out items in trash--this is definitely another good reason to solve the viewing child items without parents issue. And agreed, trash is a very useful feature.

erazlogoedited February 17, 2009A bug: when I delete a parent item in sync3.8 with "erase attached notes and files" checked, the attachment doesn't get deleted.
