Chicago numbering

How do you get normal numbering i.e. 1 2 3 to apply instead of roman numeral numbering for the citation in the text.

    Change the settings for endnotes in Word to display arabic numerals.

    Hi,thanks, yes, thought I had done that. Don't quite understand, please help again. When I went to References tab, style is set in Chicago and then go to add ins - to get the Zotero reference it puts it in BUT STILL in roman numerals.
