Change Default File

When I first save a citation, I want to have it default to a certain folder---"Unprocessed." My workflow is to save citations to this folder and then go in later, process them, tag them, etc. I can't figure out how to do this in Zotero--all of my citations appear to go to the main directory.

    If you just save a citation to My Library, it will automatically appear in "unfiled" and automatically disappear from there once you file it in a collection.
    Otherwise, items are saved into the currently selected collection. You cannot specify a default one, though.

    I get it--didn't see this file. My default view seems to to to My Library and not ot this folder. Any thoughts on this? Thanks again for your help.

    sorry, could you rephrase, I'm not following the question. What do you mean by "default view"? (German is fine, too, if that happens to be your primary language).
