Installation zotero 1.5 synch 3.7

Hi Dan,

I very much hope that the 3.7 version offers a solution of our synching problems. Thanks again!
Just something strange (or silly?) is happening: I can not install this version properly. I have created a new profile in Firefox, copied the zotero folders to this profile folder, and started installation in this profile, but after installation is finished the zotero button does not show up in the status bar. I have checked the Zotero options via the add-ons window in firefox. Zotero 1.5 synch 3.7 seems to be installed correctly. I changed the destinationfolder of the library, checked everuthing etc.. Also ctr + alt + Z does not work, Zotero does not start up
Any Idea what is happening?

Hi,

I have the same problem after the installation. Zotero doesn't appear in the status bar and doesn't start up? I think there is a problem with this new version.

Same problem after auto-update of the add-on. Zotero is disappeared.

yeah, same here. Zotero icon disappeared. Ctrl+Alt+Z doesnt work either. deinstallation and reinstallation dont change anything.

This looks like it might be a localization issue. Try entering about:config in the Firefox address bar and setting general.useragent.locale to en-US

Then restart Firefox and report back here. Many thanks.

I have the same problem. And my Firefox profile stops running when I change from "fr" to "en" or "en-US". I get an XML parsing error: undefined entity.

For us it worked too, just "en", and syncing worked too. Great!!!!

To nbayona: perhaps try "an" instead of "en" or how would you shorten Anglais... or is this a ridiculous idea?

Thanks for the advice Tales of the Revolt, apparently the abbreviations "en" and "en-us" are an ISO standard, so it didn't work.
I also tried by changing the value of intl.locale.matchOS from "false" to "true" but that didn't work either.
