Request for Library of Cogress

There are a lot of collections at the Library of Congress.

I didn't manage to use Zotero to import collections details:

METS object doesn't work.

    I guess I'm not sure what we'd even import there? What type of imported data would you be looking for?

    Do you want to import a single item representing the collection or to somehow use the collection description to create many items that are contained in the collection?

    If the former, I'd imagine we could have a translator that follows the catalog URI (in METS) to, e.g. https://lccn.loc.gov/mm82049700
    and then import from LCCN.

    (Note: I thought we had an LCCN translator, but it doesn't seem to trigger there. I haven't looked deeply, but the MODS will import just fine from there).


    Not sure a good implementation to address the latter, though.

    (we don't have a LCCN translator because that should work with unAPI -- it's in there in the header, but appears to be broken in some way)

    Reported the unAPI issue for LoC. Their non-permalink record work via Voyager7. That's just not recognized from the permalinks.
