Style Request: [chicago-short (author-year)]

Hi, I would like to request a new version of the Chicago style and was unable to find it anywhere. In the footnotes, it should be as brief as possible and only provide information about the author and year. If there are multiple articles from the same author and year, it should number them. Obviously, the bibliography will contain the full details.
The example citations should look like this:

Campbell and Pedersen, 2007, 307–332.
Mares, 2001, 184-213.

Unfortunately I have no written guidelines to attach, I have only been told to use this style.

Thanks very much in advance to whomever gets a chance to look at this.
  • have a look at the World Politics style, which is essentially that with some other minor edits. I don't think anyone will have the time to customize that for you beyond that, so you'd likely be on your own if that's not close enough. See https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step on editing styles.
  • Thank you very much for your quick response. It is fine for now and I will customise it if needed.

    Cheers
