Slight problem with bibliography formatting

Hi-I wastched the tutorial on in-text citations and bibliographies. The in-text citations are wonderful. The bibliography populated nicely, but it isn't formatted quite right for APA, and the spacing is a bit funky. For example, it only reverse indented by one space, and in some cases it started a new line after the author. It also is missing periods and such. Please let me know if I need to tweak something. Much thanks!
  • Hard to say. The indent you can easily adjust in Word. The new line after author I have never seen in APA style -- so date is at the beginning of next line?

And for the periods etc. could you post what you're getting. APA style should be very solid.
  • Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I think some of the formatting will be lost in this comment box, but you can sort of see what I'm talking about. I don't mind making adjustments in Word and such, but I just wanted to make sure there wasn't an easier way to deal with this.

  • That does not look at all like APA style. AAA style looks very similar to this. Are you sure you're not using that? (When using the Word add-on, check under Set Document Settings)
  • You nailed it. Thanks! I do think i had initially set it for APA, when I started the document, but must have accidentally changed it. I'll know to watch for that from now on.
I have another question while I have your ear. I'm a bit confused about how to set preferences on google scholar. Seems the only options on google scholar settings are: BibTeX, EndNote, RefMan, RefWorks
Do any of these work with Zotero? Much thanks!
  • the EndNote one works with Zotero, but you really want to be using the Save to Zotero icon, which works much faster

  • Thanks much for all your help.
