203 error Zotero and DownThemAll
Dear Zotero developers:
I have a persistent problem with Zotero and DownThemAll. When Zotero is installed, I cannot install DownThemAll. Windows Vista, FF 3.0.5, Zotero 1.0.9, DTA 1.1.
Workarounds that failed:
1. Kaspersky Anti-Virus disabled
2. Erase the extensions.rdf, extensions, extensions.ini files
3. Erase the profiles.ini file
4. Complete uninstall of Mozilla FF, system reboot, restart
Why I think it's a conflict between DownThemAll and Zotero: when I have a fresh FF install and profile, I can install either the DTA or the Z extensions without a problem. Together, they don't work. When DTA is installed first, installing Z causes DTA to disappear from the list of installed extensions. Reinstalls of the DTA extension don't work, sometimes with a 203 error and sometimes with no error at all, appearing to run the install sequence correctly but failing to show DTA in the list of extensions at FF restart.
I could be wrong about the source of the conflict, but I'm able to recreate the bug consistently.
I think this is irrelevant, but I could be wrong: my Zotero directory is in my Documents folder, not my FF profile. This configuration is important so that incremental backups of the Documents folder include the Zotero library.
Thanks for any advice you can offer.

So one workaround for you might be to update to the Zotero sync preview version.
I haven't tested DTA 1.1 with the Zotero 1.0 branch.
