Style Error: Harvard - Swinburne University of Technology

Hi,
I'm the creator of the Swinburne University of Technology Harvard style that has been hosted on https://www.zotero.org/styles
Our style has been harvested from somewhere and is more than 2 years out of date. How can I supply you with the latest Swinburne Harvard style please?
Warm regards,
Melinda Goodin

    Hi Melinda,
yes, that style is indeed so old that we don't even have a proper version history, we'd love an update.

    The most effective method is
    https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

It shows us any differences and makes it easier to get back to you with any questions.

If that's absolutely not an option, you can just paste the style to gist.github.com, create a public gist, and link to it here and we'll uplpoad it.

edit: though just in case, given your username & signature, note that the CSL styles used by Zotero have no relationship at all to Endnote .ens citation style.
  • Thank you Adam and Rintze,

EndNote is the supported bibliographic software at Swinburne University of Technology but I know some of our researchers like Zotero and Mendeley.
I suspect the old EndNote style in .ens format was harvested from our website and re-coded.

I've noticed a few things that need to be changed - I'll definitely let you know if it is a quick fix. If there is anything major I guess I'll be learning how to code with CSL.
  • I don't think anyone harvested anything, btw.
Apart from possibly being illegal, it would also be a very ineffective way of doing things. It looks like I did some of this way back and I would have just followed the style guide for formatting citations that was then (and still seems to be, albeit now changed) available on your website.

But yes, as Rintze says, a list of basic changes that are needed would help a lot.
