cannot view group library

Hi. On my desktop Zotero standalone programme, I've successfully dragged a number of references into a group library. I set up the group and have editing permission. My problem is that when I open the group on the Zotero website, I'm shown that there are 'items recently added' but I can't see them in a library. Can anyone help please?

    The link to the group library is oddly hidden. At the bottom of the "Recently added" list, you'll see

    "See all XXX items for this group in the Group Library."
    with "Group Library" a link to the full library.

    You can also get to the library by adding /items to the URL for the group landing page.

    (@Faolan/@Dan -- I've always thought this was a bit unfortunate design-wise. I still have to look around that page to find how to actually get to the group library).

    When I click the link "See all XXX items for this group in the Group Library." the view goes to the library but there are no references within. Should the library not appear here as it does in my local Zotero under 'group libraries', given that I've set up sync, and I have editing permission as the group 'owner.'?

    I'm sorry I couldn't understand the alternative way of reaching the library that you described.

    Ah, OK, so your local changes don't sync up.
    If you can add items locally, the problem aren't permissions (if that were the case you wouldn't be able to create the items locally in the group). Run through
    https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/changes_not_syncing
    To make sure sync is working correctly.

    Thanks again. Sync appears to work without error messages. I worked through the advice you provided a link to, but no joy there. I tried setting up a new 'test' group and the same happened - when I click the link "See all XXX items for this group in the Group Library." the view goes to the group library (simply named 'library') but it's empty. Am I missing something fundamental in setting up a group library? Does it matter whether references are dragged locally into the root folder of the group library, or a subfolder? When I follow the link to the group library as described above, should the library have a label other than 'library'? Many thanks for helping.

    It doesn't sound like you're misunderstanding anything.

    So, where I wrote XXX -- do you see an actual number there? In other words, does Zotero tell you there are X number of items in the group library?

    If you do see a number there, it may be that there's just a display problem in your browser. You could try a different one.

    You've solved it! Well done. Yes, the online group page says 'see all 64 items for this group in the Group Library.' the words `Group Library' are 'clickable' (is the correct term a hyperlink or hypertext?). In Safari, clicking here does take me to the full library, which didn't happen using Explorer. Thanks again.
