Internal Clipboard

Due to the repetitive nature of inserting references it would be wonderful for Zotero to have an internal clipboard from which the last couple of references can be copied into a document. I'm finding that in a long document it is painfully slow to now insert references and even more painful that many of these references are repetitive. As a work around I'm using Ditto clipboard manager but it would be nice to have this as feature in Zotero.
