Creating summary stats for publications and authors

Is there a way I can create a list of publication names and number of items for those publication from my database? Similarly, authors and entry count.

nothing built in. I'd export to CSV and then do data analysis in your preferred tool. Here are instructions for R, for example:

I think it would be useful to have a new feature to automatically create collections (lists) with all publication titles and the corresponding items. Moreover, it would then be useful to have the ability to correct mispelled publication titles or to normalize the writing.
