Collections

I cannot find my Zotero collections. I used to have a "Z" at the bottom of my screen, and when I clicked on it, my list of collections would appear. The "Z" is no longer there, and I don't know how to find my collections.

    Was that in Firefox or did you use the Standalone program?
    In Firefox, the "Z" icon moved to the top right of the browser a long time ago. Do you see it there?

    Yes, I see the Z icon at the top right of the browser, but when I click on it, it doesn't show my collections, as it used to do. How can I get to my collections? Thank you.

    Do you still see your items in the center (or on the left) or do you see an entirely empty library?

    OMG--I just tried it again, to answer your question--and now I have my collections! I SWEAR I did the same thing several times the other day, with no results. You're magical! Thank you!

    you can hide the collections (by dragging to the left between left and center pane) and Zotero restores them after restart. My guess is that, rather than my magic touch/invisible hand did the job here, but glad it's working again for you either way.
