Saving Report as PDF on Standalone

I was wondering if anyone knew how/if it is possible to save a report generated by Zotero Standalone (with Chrome) as a PDF file type? I can't seem to figure it out, as there are only four file types to save it as when my report is generated.

Thanks,
Sarah
  • Most (all?) OS have a "print to file" option (in Windows, e.g., XPS Document Writer), that should work pretty well.
  • It comes up in the window, I press print, and click the "print to file" button but nothing happens...? It asked me the file name and then looked like it was just going to print from my printer... but then nothing happened.
  • Be sure that you closely check where the file is saved. I've had exactly that problem but that was a long time ago. I had it repeatedly both on Win & Mac machines. But I remember that the file was being saved in a place I didn't expect it to be (Windows). Our Macs saved these files to a subdirectory within the Applications directory until I convinced them otherwise! Before that, I remember that files were being saved to the desktop. At one point we had print-to-file documents being saved in the designated folder for our scanner documents.

Do a full search for the filename you entered and you are likely to find it tucked away somewhere.

    Good luck.
