populating citation data for a pdf already in Zotero using ISBN etc.

I have a large number of pdf's that intend to import into Zotero. After I get them in Zotero and run the pdf metadata extraction, the data extraction fails for a few files. However, I can see the ISBN/ DOI etc. in these documents when I view them. Can I somehow enter this ISBN number manually so that the bibliographic entry for those file can be created based on the ISBN/ DOI number I enter?

    you can add the item from ISBN/DOI by identifier (the magic wand tool) but you'd have to manually attach the PDF to the new item.

    Thanks. Can I drag and drop the existing pdf in zotero into the item so created, or will I have to get a copy from my computer directory and delete the zotero pdf entry?

    you can just drag the existing PDF in Zotero to that item (there may be a bug preventing that on Windows at this time--that will get fixed very soon, likely today, so if you're having problems wait for a new version).
