Missing all items in library

Hello,

I have been using Zotero for years. I keep my Zotero library on an external hard drive. I just tried to insert a citation into my Word document, and found that nothing came up when I input the author of a paper I have cited before. Changing to classic view, there are no citations visible. When I open the library in Firefox, I can see the list of titles and authors in "My Library", but when I click on an entry, there is nothing in the "info", "tags" or any other area. I also am not able to see a list of titles when I look in any of my folders.

I made sure that I changed the Zotero library location to the hard drive and restarted Firefox and Word as requested.

When I go into the storage folders in my Zotero file on my hard drive I see what looks like extracted images: covers, some plots, etc. but I don't see anything else.

I had been paying for Zotero for awhile so that I could have a shared group library, but stopped paying as I'm not using this feature. I'm wondering if that has something to do with it, but I should be able to still see my personal libraries.

I've spent a long time acquiring these citations. I'd love some help.

    The first thing I'd try is to see if moving your Zotero library back to the internal harddisk has any effect.

    Also, check database integrity from the advanced tab of the Zotero preferences.

    Yeah, what adamsmith says — copy the entire Zotero data directory to the local hard drive and point Zotero there.
