record template for SS metadata

Hello,
I'm looking to create a clearinghouse of Social Science for libraries at the dateset or table level.

Please tell me someone has designed a record template I can use or modify.

Dataverse and ICPSR are too "big" for this small project.

    I'm interested in this, but I don't quite understand the question. Could you explain this a bit more?

    Hello Adam,
    So I want people to search by variables of what's being measured in a table. So the record would have fields for the metadata of a table and a fields for variables.

    So something like this but not so detailed...

    Take a look at the format used by MetaBus. Their goal is something similar: to compile standardized information on a large number of organizational research variables.
