pdf and pubmed

Hi Everyone
I am trying to help someone who is using Zotero with Safari. They are searching Pubmed and cannot get the pdf's to download with their citations even though the preference is selected for automatically attaching pdfs. Is this a known issue?

    Pubmed doesnt' host full texts of articles, so Zotero doesn't download them (it does from pubmed central). That's unrelated to the browser.

    Might happen in the future, but it requires a significant expansion of what Zotero can do in terms of getting to PDFs.

    Is there a list of databases that zotero will download the pdfs with the citations? I was wondering in particular about web of science...

    There's no list, no. As a general rule, Zotero will at least try to get PDFs wherever they're hosted on the same site as the article information. That means no for WoS and Pubmed.

    This might be more dream than reality but as PubMed offers a direct connection to PubMed Central might that be used to automatically get pdf files?
