One member of my research group is having the same problem. She has logged in successfully to the site before, but recently when she tries to logs in, she is requested to validate her email address. She follows the directions, attempts to log in again, and is again requested to validate her email. Is there some glitch in the system or is it possible she's not doing a step correctly?
Edited to add that since she is the owner of our group libraries, we can't sync to the server until she can log in and manage our groups.
My husband is attempting to login to his new Zotero account and is having the same problem. He receives the validation email, clicks the link, gets the "success" message on the Zotero website, then goes to login and gets bumped back to the email validation screen.
I'm posting this on his behalf because he can't sign in to the forum.
@cygnoir He may have successfully logged in and gotten redirected back to that page (because the website tries to send you back to what you were looking at in case you need to log in to have access to it). If he really isn't being logged in (there is no welcome message in the top right) have him email registration@zot...org
I can login in to my Zotero account on my desk top and iphone5, but when I try to login with my ipad, I keep getting the email validation request. I login, get the request, go to the email, click on the link, it says I've successfully registered the account and I can login now, I login, then I get the email validation request again. Help!
I am unable to login to my Zotero account at all now, so I had to create another account to post a follow-up comment. What is up with repeated email validation request?
Is there a solution? I really need access to my research.
With my new account, I can login to Zotero across all devices. So it seems something is wrong with my previous account. Can this be fixed? All my research is in the library of my old account. Is there a way to access it with the new account?
Both of your accounts are activated. It's unlikely you'd be able to post with one if it wasn't, and I can't think of a way that the same account would get different results depending on the device. What seems most likely is that you were trying to log in with different accounts without realizing it. If you weren't before, try logging in with the user name of the account instead of an email address.
I resolved this problem with the assistance of a librarian at my educational institution. Although the login screen says to login with your email address or username, and in fact, does accept the email address login initially, only the username works subsequently. Posting the solution here for others who may encounter the problem

Thanks!
Thank you.
Thanks for the response anyway.
